United Clubs at O'Hare: which one is nearest your gate
O'Hare has five United Clubs, all past security: two in Concourse B, one each in C, E and F. Gates, daily hours and how to get in.

O’Hare has five United Clubs, all past security: three in Terminal 1 and two in Terminal 2. Your concourse decides which one to use, and Concourse B has two.
| Your concourse | Club | Hours, daily | Clear security at |
|---|---|---|---|
| B | Terminal 1, near Gate B6 or B18 | B6 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., B18 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. | Checkpoint 1, 2 or 3 |
| C | Terminal 1, near Gate C10 | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. | Checkpoint 1, 2 or 3 |
| E | Terminal 2, near Gate E7 | 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. | Checkpoint 5 |
| F | Terminal 2, near Gate F9 | 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. | Checkpoint 5 |
The hours come from the airport’s terminal map. The airport publishes no walking times from a gate to its club.
Gate ranges and the Polaris Lounge
Concourse B runs from Gate B1 to B24 and Concourse C from C1 to C31. Concourse E runs from Gate E1 to E17 and Concourse F from F1 to F28. The United Polaris Lounge, near Gate C18, admits international first and business class customers only.
Who gets in, and what the airport doesn’t publish
United Club members and eligible United customers can use all five clubs. The airport’s lounge page says travelers without a membership may buy day passes for most of the clubs. It doesn’t say which clubs, what a pass costs or how to get one. Its terminal map adds a line for the Club at Gate B6 only: “Approach our friendly lounge staff for purchasable access (subject to availability).” The airport lists one phone number for the clubs, (866) 822-5827, and no other contact.
Coming from another terminal
From Terminal 3 you can walk to all five on the secure side, because Terminals 1, 2 and 3 join there.
From Terminal 5 you can’t walk. The Terminal Transfer Bus keeps you on the secure side. It runs every 15 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. It is for connecting passengers only, so you need a boarding pass for a same-day flight from the terminal you’re riding to. Its Terminal 1 stop is Gate C18B in Concourse C. It has no Terminal 2 stop, so for the clubs at Gates E7 and F9 you ride to Terminal 1 or 3 and walk the rest.
Outside the bus hours, the airport says you exit security, board the Airport Transit System and get rescreened at a TSA checkpoint.
