Lost something at O'Hare? Who to call

O'Hare has no single lost and found. Call your airline, TSA, Chicago Police, the Airport Transit System or the shop, with the numbers the airport lists.

O’Hare has no single lost and found, so the number to call depends on where you left the item. Your airline, TSA, Chicago Police, the Airport Transit System, the restaurants (one shared number) and the shops each handle their own. The airport lists a phone number for most of them, but not for TSA or the airlines.

If you don’t know where you lost it

When you can’t place it, the airport advises contacting several or all of these organizations separately. The airport’s page gives no hours for these lines and no holding period, and it doesn’t cover items left in a taxi or rideshare car. Travelers Aid Chicago answers general questions about the airport at (773) 894-2427, but its page lists no lost property service, so the agencies above are the ones to call.
