Alaska Airlines and JetBlue have their ticket counters in Terminal 2, before security. The airport chapel and the USO are on the mezzanine level directly above those counters.

Check-in cut-off times
On domestic U.S. flights Alaska Airlines closes check-in 50 minutes before departure. Travellers checking bags must have every bag received and a boarding pass in hand by then.
The same 50-minute cut-off applies to travellers with carry-on bags only.
Be at the gate with a valid boarding pass 30 minutes before the flight. Arriving later can cost reserved seats or the whole reservation.
A pet flying in the baggage compartment must be checked in 90 minutes before departure, and can be checked in up to 2 hours before.
