Outdoor relief areas sit by a lower-level door at Terminals 1, 2 and 5, and outside Door 6 at the Multi-Modal Facility. The airport lists none outside security at Terminal 3. Past security it lists areas at Terminals 1, 3 and 5, and the Terminal 3 main hall area is closed behind a construction wall.

The airport calls every one of these a service animal relief area and says every animal must be leashed and accompanied by its owner. Its page doesn’t say whether a pet that isn’t a service animal may use them, so ask your airline if that’s your situation. Service animal arrangements go through the airline too.

Outside security: open at all times

The outdoor areas are gated and fenced, about 16 by 10 feet.

Where How to find it

From Terminal 3, the Airport Transit System stops at Terminals 1 and 2, which both have outdoor areas.

Past security: open whenever you’re inside

The indoor areas are about 10 by 8 feet, with a sink, a relief pad, paper towels and a water hose.

Terminal Where
Terminal 1 Concourse C, on the right wall just past Gate C10, on the hallway toward Gate C12

The airport lists none inside security at Terminal 2. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 connect on the secure side, so a Terminal 2 passenger can walk to the Terminal 3 Rotunda or to Gate C10 in Terminal 1 without clearing security again. The airport publishes no walking time for either route.
