Luggage storage
Chicago O'Hare International Airport doesn't say where to find luggage storage. What it does publish, and what to do.
More in our guide: Is there luggage storage at O'Hare?.
What ORD publishes, and what to do
- O'Hare publishes no lockers or left-luggage service, and Travelers Aid says it cannot store luggage.
Related facilities ORD locates
- Lost and found: Handled separately by each organisation that runs the space where the item was left
- Baggage claim: Terminal 1, Arrivals and Baggage Claim level: 14 belts (one of 2 listings)
Good to know
- O'Hare's own answer is that there is currently no luggage storage at the airport, and Travelers Aid Chicago says it cannot help with storing luggage.
- Airlines run all of their own baggage services at O'Hare, so a question about a checked, delayed or oversized bag goes to your airline.
- Bounce lists a bag storage point inside the Hilton Chicago O'Hare Airport hotel on West O'Hare Avenue. It opens 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. five days a week and is booked through Bounce before you drop the bags.
- Bounce also lists storage points in Bensenville, in Des Plaines and near the Cumberland CTA station on the Blue Line, from $6.95 a bag per day.
- LuggageHero lists partner shops and hotels in Rosemont, the suburb beside O'Hare, from $1.50 an hour or $5.90 a day. A one-time $1.99 fee per bag is added and covers a guarantee of up to $500 against damage, loss and theft.
- LuggageHero takes nothing at booking. You pay when you collect the bags, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal, and its partner locations do not accept cash.
- If a bag goes missing in a public area of the terminal, call the Chicago Police at (773) 686-2385. Report anything left at a TSA checkpoint through the TSA lost and found form.
- Something left on the Airport Transit System train goes to its operator: call (773) 462-0400 or email [email protected].
