Tortas Frontera counter, Terminal 1

Nearly all of [Terminal 1](https://ordairportguide.com/terminals/terminal-1/)’s food is past security, in Concourse B (Gates B1 to B24) or Concourse C (Gates C1 to C31). Only three counters sit before security, and they’re in the first table.

## The Starbucks at B5 and B9 are the staffed counters open when Checkpoint 1 opens

Checkpoint 1 opens at 3:30 a.m., Checkpoint 3 at 3:45 a.m. and Checkpoint 2 at 4 a.m., according to the airport’s [checkpoint hours](https://ordairportguide.com/security/). The two Starbucks at Gates B5 and B9 are listed open 24 hours, and there isn’t another staffed counter listed before 4 a.m. The airport’s directory also lists three vending machines open 24 hours after security: Farmer’s Fridge near Gate B20, and a Starbucks machine and a Nuts on Clark popcorn machine near Gate C19. At 4 a.m. these open:

- Brioche Dorée at C21
- Dunkin’ Express at B14
- McDonald’s at B11 and C10

Our [before 6 a.m. guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/food-at-ohare-before-6-am/) lists everything open then, by terminal.

At the other end of the day, Jazz Bar lists the latest closing time, 10:30 p.m. Tuscany Café and both McDonald’s list 10 p.m. The [late night guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/food-at-ohare-late-at-night/) covers what’s left after that and when security closes.

## Vending machines with no hours listed

The airport’s dining directory lists a Canteen vending machine and a Pepsi vending machine near Door 1F with no hours. The Hudson at Gate B10 doesn’t have hours on the airport’s map either.

## Chicago names show up on both concourses

The airport’s map lists Garrett Popcorn Shops at B8, Billy Goat Tavern and Grill at C19 and America’s Dog at C17 as Chicago food. Its text names Vienna Beef hot dogs at the Eli’s Cheesecake counter at B9, Chicago dogs at both Reggio’s, and pizza at Home Run Inn at C11 and Tuscany Café at B18. The map also lists pizza for Berghoff Cafe at C26, though its text mentions only breakfast sandwiches and omelets. The [pizza guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/chicago-style-pizza-at-ohare-where-find-it/) and [hot dog guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/chicago-hot-dogs-local-classics-at-ohare/) go through those by terminal.
