Gate seating, Terminal 1, O'Hare

O’Hare names its [free power stations](https://ordairportguide.com/amenities/power-charging/) gate by gate, so check the list for your gate. Terminal 5’s list has one entry, at Gate M13. If your gate isn’t listed, shops that sell chargers are the fallback, and EVOLVE by Hudson at Terminal 5’s Gate M14 is open 24 hours.

## Which gates have a power station?

The airport’s technology page describes a power station as a seated workstation with counter space and AC outlets, at no charge. Each has four to eight seating positions and one wheelchair accessible workstation. The page doesn’t list hours.

| Terminal | Concourse | Gates with a power station |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Terminal 1 | B | B5, B11, B12, B14, B19 |
| Terminal 1 | C | C5, C15, C21, C28 |
| Terminal 2 | E | E8 |
| Terminal 2 | F | F2, F5 |
| Terminal 3 | G | G13, G17 |
| Terminal 3 | H | H12 |
| Terminal 3 | K | K9, K12 |
| Terminal 3 | L | L10B |
| Terminal 5 | M | M13 |

The airport’s page files Gate F5 under Concourse L, but F gates are in Concourse F of Terminal 2, so the table lists it there.

## No station at your gate

The airport’s page adds that some airlines may offer seats with power outlets in their gate waiting areas. It doesn’t name the airlines, so look at your own seat. In Terminal 2, the Family Lounge beyond security has device charging stations, and our [families and kids page](https://ordairportguide.com/amenities/family-kids/) says where it is.

## Which shops sell chargers?

The airport’s map tags these shops for chargers. It doesn’t publish prices or say which chargers they carry.

| Terminal | Shop | Gate | Hours |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Terminal 1 | InMotion | B7 | 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. |
| Terminal 1 | CNN Newstand | B9 | 4 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 1 | Brookstone | C11 | 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Terminal 2 | Headphone Hub | E1 | 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 3 | InMotion | H2 | 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 3 | InMotion | K12 | 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 3 | Brookstone | H3 | 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Terminal 3 | CNN Newstand | H5 | 4 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 5 | Brookstone | M11 | 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. |
| Terminal 5 | InMotion | M30 | 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |
| Terminal 5 | EVOLVE by Hudson | M14 | Open 24 hours |

The map tags Hudson stores for chargers too, and many of those in Terminals 1, 2 and 3 open at 4 a.m. The [shops directory](https://ordairportguide.com/dining/?group=shops) gives each Hudson’s gate and hours.

## Before you clear security

The airport’s terminal map lists a Power Station in Terminal 1’s Departures hall, before security. It gives no gate or hours. Beyond that, shops are the fallback, and the map tags a Hudson for chargers before security in four places:

- Terminal 1 baggage claim: 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Terminal 3 baggage claim: 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Terminal 5 baggage claim: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Multi-Modal Facility, Level 1: 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
