O'Hare lists no lockers or left-luggage counter, and Travelers Aid says it can't store luggage. What to ask hotels and airlines, and where the desks are.

No. O’Hare’s pages and terminal map list no [lockers or left-luggage counter](https://ordairportguide.com/amenities/luggage-storage/), and Travelers Aid Chicago says on its own page that it can’t store luggage. The [Blue Line](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/cta-blue-line/) station is inside the airport, so a trip downtown means taking your bags along.

## What Travelers Aid says

Travelers Aid Chicago staffs the airport’s information desks and a Terminal 2 office. Its page has a “What we cannot do” list, and one line reads: “We cannot provide personal care assistance, wheelchair transfers, prolonged supervision, or assistance with/storage of luggage.”

For questions about O’Hare, Travelers Aid invites calls at (773) 894-2427. The same page lists crisis support for passengers whose travel plans were interrupted.

## Where to ask in person

The airport’s accessibility page says information desks sit in the baggage claim areas and on the secure side of each terminal, beyond the checkpoints. Travelers Aid’s main office is in Terminal 2, across from the Family Lounge.

The gate desks open Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For weekends, the Travelers Aid page says 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while the airport’s accessibility page says 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the desks at Gates C18, F4, K2 and M15. The accessibility page also lists lower-level desks and a [Multi-Modal Facility desk](https://ordairportguide.com/amenities/information-desks/) near Door 4 that is staffed 24 hours.

## What the hotels say

O’Hare’s On-Site Hotel page names one hotel, the Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport Hotel. It stands directly across from Terminals 1, 2 and 3, with underground walkways to the domestic terminals. The page adds that other nearby hotels offer complimentary shuttle service.

It doesn’t say whether any hotel holds a bag for someone who isn’t staying there. Whether a front desk will take your bag is a question for that hotel, and it’s worth asking before you ride out. The [hotels page](https://ordairportguide.com/hotels/) has each hotel’s address and how it connects to the airport.

[Our Hilton guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/hilton-at-ohare-hotel-inside-airport/) walks the route from each terminal. [Hotel shuttles](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/hotel-shuttles/) collect at the Terminal 2 Arrivals curb, and the virtual concierge kiosks on the arrivals level by baggage claim call one at no charge.

## What the airlines say

The airport’s pages don’t say whether an airline will take a bag early or hold one for you. Nothing the airport publishes gives an earliest drop-off time, only each carrier’s [check-in location](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/). The airline you’re flying is the one to ask, at its check-in counter or through its own site.

Our [layover guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/can-you-leave-ohare-layover/) gives the checkpoint hours that set your latest return, and says to ask your airline what happens to a checked bag when you leave between flights.
