Wingtips Lounge, Terminal 5

Priority Pass lists the [Swissport Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/swissport-lounge/) in [Terminal 5](https://ordairportguide.com/terminals/terminal-5/) as permanently closed, although the airport’s lounge page still names it. Don’t plan a visit to it. The [Wingtips Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/wingtips-lounge/) on Concourse M, past security, has the long airline list and takes Priority Pass members.

## Which lounge takes your airline

Look for your airline first. The table follows the airport’s lounge page.

| Lounge | Airlines the airport lists |
| --- | --- |
| Wingtips | Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air India (marked “temporarily suspended” in the airport’s airline directory), Air New Zealand, All Nippon Airways, Asiana Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Avianca, Brussels Airlines, Copa Airlines, Croatia Airlines, EGYPTAIR, Ethiopian Airlines, EVA AIR, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Shenzhen Airlines, Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, SWISS, TAP Portugal, THAI Airways, United |

The airport’s page lists Emirates, Etihad Airways, Finnair and Royal Jordanian only against the Swissport Lounge, and it names no other lounge for them. Ask your airline where its customers go now. The [LOT Business Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/lot-business-lounge/) at Gate M18 takes LOT, Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance business class customers.

Wingtips lists one more group, SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Otherwise the airport’s page names airlines only. It doesn’t say which fares or status tiers count, so ask your airline.

SkyTeam Elite Plus members also appear on the access lists for the [Delta Sky Club](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/delta-sky-club/) and the [Air France Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/air-france-lounge/). At the Air France Lounge they must be traveling on a SkyTeam airline.

## Priority Pass: Wingtips, up to three hours before departure

Priority Pass members get into Wingtips up to 3 hours before departure. The airport’s page doesn’t name Priority Pass for Wingtips, but Priority Pass lists the lounge among its O’Hare lounges as Wingtips Lounge Chicago.

The [Air France Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/air-france-lounge/) takes Priority Pass members too, except from noon to 5 p.m.

## Where Wingtips is: near Gate M19

Wingtips is near Gate M19 on both the airport’s page and its map. The Air France Lounge is near Gate M17.

## Hours

Wingtips is open daily 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The airport’s lounge page lists no hours for any lounge, and its map prints none for Wingtips, so check the hours with the lounge before you plan around them.

Early flights are where the hours bite. With Priority Pass on an 8 a.m. flight, the three-hour window starts at 5 a.m., but Wingtips opens at 9 a.m., after you’ve left. The Air France Lounge opens at 5 a.m., which fits that flight.

## Getting there from another terminal or a landing

Several Wingtips airlines check in outside Terminal 5:

- Terminal 1: [Lufthansa](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/all-nippon-airways/) and [All Nippon Airways](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/all-nippon-airways/)
- Terminal 2: [Air Canada](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/air-canada/)
- [United](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/united-airlines/): the airport’s airline directory lists Terminals 1 and 5, and its terminal map adds Terminal 2

Terminal 5 has no walk to the other terminals on the secure side. From Terminals 1 to 3 you ride the [Airport Transit System](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/airport-transit-system/) and clear security again at Terminal 5 before Concourse M, so a lounge visit from there is a long-layover plan.

If you’re connecting from a Terminal 1 or 3 flight to one leaving Terminal 5, the [Terminal Transfer Bus](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/terminal-transfer-bus/) stays on the secure side, runs every 15 minutes from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and carries connecting passengers only, with a boarding pass for the Terminal 5 flight. Its Terminal 5 stop is Gate M13.

If you land in Terminal 5 on an international flight, immigration, your bags and customs come first. Our [Terminal 5 arrivals guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/arriving-at-ohare-terminal-5-from-abroad-customs-baggage/) covers the passport lines, bag claim and recheck desks in order.

## No day pass is listed for Wingtips

The airport’s lounge page says travelers without club membership may purchase day passes for most of the clubs. It doesn’t say which clubs or what a pass costs, so it doesn’t say whether Wingtips is among them.

The [Delta Sky Club](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/delta-sky-club/) on Concourse M no longer sells Single Visit Passes. It accepts one you already hold through the expiration date printed on it, and a pass with no printed date isn’t valid.

The airport’s lounge page lists a phone number for several other lounges and none for Wingtips, and it doesn’t describe what’s inside. The airport’s terminal map describes Wingtips as a place to eat and drink or find a quiet space to finish work before your flight. Your airline, or Priority Pass if you hold a card, is the one to ask about entry. Our [lounges page](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/) lists every lounge in the airport with who gets in.
