Concourse M near Gate M18, Terminal 5

LOT, TAP Air Portugal and Air Serbia all check in at [Terminal 5](https://ordairportguide.com/terminals/terminal-5/), on the Departures and Check-In level. LOT is the only one of the three with a lounge of its own, the LOT Business Lounge near Gate M18 on Concourse M.

## Which lounges name each airline

| Airline | Lounges that name it |
| --- | --- |
| LOT Polish Airlines | LOT Business Lounge and Wingtips Lounge |
| TAP Air Portugal | Wingtips Lounge, as TAP Portugal |
| Air Serbia | None |

The airport’s directory names a check-in terminal for each airline but no flights, so your airline confirms the one for your flight. The rest of the airport’s airlines are in our [A to Z airline guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/every-airline-at-ohare-z/).

## The LOT Business Lounge: who the airport lists

The lounge is past security, at Gate M18 on both the airport’s lounge page and its map. The airport’s row for it names Turkish Airlines, LOT and Star Alliance business class travelers. It also points to a link for entry by airline membership holders, other travel programs and the complete list. [Turkish Airlines](https://ordairportguide.com/airlines/aeromexico/) is the only other airline the row names.

Neither the airport’s lounge page nor its map prints hours or a phone number for it, so ask LOT before you build a plan around it.

Neither TAP nor Air Serbia appears in the airport’s row for this lounge, which names Star Alliance business class travelers without listing the alliance’s members. The airport’s page can’t tell you whether your fare counts, so ask the airline that sold it.

## Wingtips also names LOT

The [Wingtips Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/wingtips-lounge/) is near Gate M19, and the airport’s page lists LOT Polish Airlines among the airlines it takes. It is open daily 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Beyond airlines, the airport’s page names SkyTeam Elite Plus members at Wingtips.

The Swissport Lounge also named LOT, but Priority Pass lists it as permanently closed, and the airport’s lounge page still lists it. Don’t plan around it.

Priority Pass members get in at Wingtips up to 3 hours before departure. The airport’s page names no Priority Pass access for the LOT lounge. Our [Terminal 5 lounges guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/lounges-terminal-5-at-ohare-delta-air-france-lot/) covers the Delta and Air France lounges on the same concourse.

## Air Serbia and the day pass question

No lounge names Air Serbia. A Priority Pass membership works whichever of the three airlines you fly, at the Wingtips Lounge up to 3 hours before departure. It also works at the [Air France Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/air-france-lounge/) near Gate M17, which is open daily 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. but doesn’t take Priority Pass between noon and 5 p.m.

The airport’s page says travelers without a membership “may also purchase day passes for most of the clubs,” and it names no club and no price. Our [lounge access guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/can-you-buy-lounge-access-at-ohare/) has the prices that other lounges do print.

## Security and arrival time

[Checkpoint 10](https://ordairportguide.com/security/) serves Terminal 5 and is open 24 hours. Its TSA PreCheck lane runs from 3:45 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Its CLEAR Plus lane runs Sunday to Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The airport’s FAQ page says the TSA recommends arriving 3 hours before international flights. Ask LOT, TAP or Air Serbia for its own check-in and bag cutoffs.

## After you land: customs and bags

The airport’s International Traveler page sends international arrivals to Terminal 5 for passport control, bags and customs. It doesn’t say which airlines land there, so confirm your terminal with the airline. If you’re heading on to another flight and your bags aren’t checked through, the page splits the choice by airline:

- A United or American connection: recheck the bags with an airline employee right after customs.
- Any other airline: carry the bags out of Terminal 5 and recheck them with that airline before the domestic flight.

Bags checked through to your final stop go to the recheck counters directly outside the customs area. The page says many factors affect how long immigration and customs take, but it is rare for them to take more than two hours. Our [Terminal 5 arrivals guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/arriving-at-ohare-terminal-5-from-abroad-customs-baggage/) has the passport lines and bag claim, and our [international connection guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/connecting-from-international-flight-at-ohare-steps-order/) has the recheck, TSA and train or bus steps.
