Economy Lots G and H

[ORD parking cost calculator](https://ordairportguide.com/parking/#stay-cost): 7 days from $112.00 at Economy Lot G. Pick your days and compare every lot.

Economy Lots G and H are the cheapest parking O’Hare lists, and a week there comes to $112 at the airport’s daily rate. The airport publishes no weekly rate, so every seven-day total on this page is the daily rate times seven.

## What a week costs in each lot

| Where you park | Rate for 24 hours | Seven days | What to know |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Economy Lot G | $16 | $112 | Outdoors, with no height limit. A shuttle bus carries you to the train. |
| Economy Lot H | $16 | $112 | Outdoors, with no height limit. The airport’s pages disagree on whether it takes cash, so bring a card. Same shuttle bus as Lot G. |
| Economy Lot F | $30 | $210 | Covered, on floors 4 and 5 of the Multi-Modal Facility, with a clearance of 8 feet 4 inches. No bus leg. |
| Main Garage daily levels and Lots B and C | $43 | $301 | Next to Terminals 1 to 3. The garage clears 6 feet 6 inches, Lot B 9 feet and Lot C 8 feet 5 inches. |
| Terminal 5 Garage and Lot D | $43 | $301 | An enclosed pedestrian bridge joins the garage to Terminal 5. The garage clears 8 feet 6 inches, and Lot D has no height limit. |
| Premier Parking | $63 | $441 | Covered, under 300 feet to Terminals 1 and 3. First come first served, with no booking. |

Every rate includes taxes, and you pay the cashier on the way out. The airport doesn’t recommend the Main Garage for extended stays because its daily rate is higher than the economy lots.

Level 1 of the Main Garage is the hourly level, and its 8-to-24-hour rate is $79 instead of $43. For a week, park on Levels 2 to 6.

## Tall vehicles and electric cars

The table above gives each lot’s clearance. For a tall vehicle on a budget, Lots G and H are the cheapest, and neither has a height limit. Lot D has none either, at $43 for 24 hours.

Charging stations are in three places:

- **Lot F:** 24 Level 2 charging stations sit on Level 4, in Rows G, H, I and J.
- **Terminal 5 garage:** 48 stations, with 20 on Level 1, 10 on Level 2, 10 on Level 3 and 8 on Level 4.
- **Main Garage:** 12 stations on Level 1, in Aisle 2 near Elevator Center 3. That is the hourly level, so a long stay there runs at the $79 rate.

The airport’s parking pages don’t list a charging fee.

## What the airport doesn’t publish for a week

O’Hare’s parking tables stop at 24 hours. They list no discount for a longer stay and no price for hours past the 24-hour mark. The totals above assume you collect the car at the same clock time you left it.

The Parking Garage Office, at (773) 686-7530, takes calls about vehicle assistance, booted vehicles, stays over 30 days and accessible parking.

## Where Lots F, G and H are

Lot F is inside the Multi-Modal Facility, at 10255 W. Zemke Blvd., on the southeast corner of Mannheim and Zemke Roads. Lots G and H are outdoor lots along Bessie Coleman Drive at corners of Mannheim and Zemke Roads, northeast of the domestic terminals and straight north of Terminal 5. The airport’s general parking page puts Lot H at the corner of Bessie Coleman Drive and Coffey Road instead.

To reach the Multi-Modal Facility and the economy lots, drive in on Mannheim Road and Zemke Boulevard, or along Bessie Coleman Drive by way of Coffey Road. Road signs guide you to each lot, and our [driving directions page](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/driving-directions/) covers the approaches to the airport.

## How the shuttle and train get you to your terminal

Lot F sits inside the Multi-Modal Facility, where the free Airport Transit System stops, so you board the train in the building. The train runs every 3 to 5 minutes at peak and 24 hours a day. From Terminal 1 to the Multi-Modal Facility is about 10 minutes end to end, which makes that the longest ride from Lot F.

Lots G and H add a bus. A free shuttle runs from each lot to the Multi-Modal Facility, where you switch to the train. The buses come every 5 to 10 minutes, around the clock, and the airport doesn’t publish the ride time. Our [Lot G and H shuttle page](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/economy-lot-shuttle/) shows where it boards.

Lot F costs $98 more than G or H over seven days. That buys a covered space, a place to charge and a trip with no bus transfer, which is the part heavy bags make worth it. A light bag reaches the same train from Lot G or H.

Hotel and off-airport parking shuttles collect at the Terminal 2 Arrivals curb, and some also stop at Terminal 5, so ask the lot (our [hotel shuttle page](https://ordairportguide.com/transport/hotel-shuttles/) lists the pick-up point).

## Reserving a space costs $10 a day extra

Reserved parking holds a covered space even when the garage is full. The spaces are on Level 2 of the Terminal 5 Garage, Level 4 of the Main Garage and Level 4 of Lot F.

The reservation fee is $10 per space per day, on top of the parking charge. A reserved week in Lot F comes to $280, plus taxes and fees on the $70 reservation charge. Book online before you leave home, through the link on the airport’s reserved parking page.

[Premier Parking](https://ordairportguide.com/parking/premier-parking/) is the covered option that takes no booking. Follow the signs for Hourly Parking at the Main Garage, then the signs to Premier Parking.
