# Can you buy lounge access at O'Hare?

The airport says most clubs sell day passes but prices none. American's Flagship pass is $150 or 15,000 miles. Priority Pass works in Terminal 5.

Sometimes. The airport says travelers without a club membership “may also purchase day passes for most of the clubs,” but it doesn’t name the clubs, give a price or say where to buy one. American publishes a price for a pass, **$150 or 15,000 AAdvantage miles** per person for the Flagship Lounge.

| Lounge | Way in without membership | Price listed |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Any club, per the airport’s page | Day passes for most of the clubs | None |
| Flagship Lounge | Single Visit Pass | $150 or 15,000 AAdvantage miles per person |
| Admirals Clubs | One-Day Pass, limited by capacity | None |
| Delta Sky Club | A Single Visit Pass you already hold, since Delta no longer sells them | No longer sold. $50 per person per visit for card members’ guests and extra visits |
| Wingtips Lounge | Priority Pass, up to 3 hours before departure | Priority Pass annual fee, figures below |
| Air France Lounge | Priority Pass, but not between noon and 5 p.m. | Priority Pass annual fee, figures below |
| United Club at Gate B6 | Approach the lounge staff, per the airport’s terminal map, subject to availability | None |
| Other United Clubs, United Polaris Lounge | None listed | None |
| LOT Business Lounge | The airport’s page links a list of entry options for membership holders and other travel programs | None listed |

Your ticket or card may already cover a lounge. The [lounge listings](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/) give the access list for each one. The Delta Sky Club, for example, admits Delta One customers, SkyTeam premium cabin customers and SkyTeam Elite Plus members, and the [every lounge guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/every-lounge-at-ohare-who-gets/) sets out the list for each lounge.

## American publishes a price for the Flagship Lounge

The [Flagship Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/flagship-lounge/) sits between Gates H6 and K6 in Terminal 3 and opens daily at 4:15 a.m. It closes at 10:15 p.m. on American’s page and 10:45 p.m. on the airport’s map. American’s page sets these terms for the Single Visit Pass:

- You buy it at an open Flagship lounge, and you must be at least 21.
- You show a boarding pass for same-day travel on a departing or arriving flight that American operates or markets, or that a oneworld airline markets and operates.
- No guests come in on it.
- It’s good once, the same day, in the lounge where you bought it, and it depends on lounge capacity.

The Admirals Clubs are less certain. They are past security in Terminal 3, near Gates G8, L2A and H6/K6, the last beside the Flagship Lounge. American’s page says One-Day Pass access “may be limited or not available based on lounge capacity,” and it prints no price. If you fly American often, the same page names the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Legend Mastercard as the only card that includes Admirals Club membership. Our [Admirals and Flagship guide](https://ordairportguide.com/guides/admirals-clubs-flagship-lounge-at-ohare/) covers who gets in without paying.

## In Terminal 5, Priority Pass is the paid way in

The four Terminal 5 lounges still open are on Concourse M, past security. The [LOT Business Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/lot-business-lounge/) near Gate M18 is for LOT, Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance business class customers. The airport’s lounge page says entry for membership holders and other travel programs is on a linked list, and it prints no price, so the table gives the location and hours of the other three. Opening times differ: the Delta Sky Club opens at 4:30 a.m., and the Wingtips Lounge not until 9 a.m.

| Lounge | Where | Open |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Delta Sky Club | Between Gates M11 and M14 | Sunday to Friday 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 4:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
| Wingtips Lounge | Near Gate M19 | Daily 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Air France Lounge | Near Gate M17 | Daily 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. |

Priority Pass lists the [Swissport Lounge](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/swissport-lounge/) as permanently closed, although the airport’s lounge page still lists it. Priority Pass members still have the Wingtips Lounge and the Air France Lounge in Terminal 5, and a Priority Pass membership is the paid way into both. The Delta Sky Club has its own ways in, covered next.

Delta has stopped selling Single Visit Passes, but one you already hold is accepted at the Sky Club through the expiration date printed on it, as long as you fly the same day on Delta or a partner airline. Delta’s access page adds that the pass needs a printed expiration date and that entry may be limited by capacity. Delta’s overview page lists an Individual Membership and an Executive Membership, which allows up to two guests. Delta’s access page says annual memberships, renewals included, are for purchase only by Medallion Members of the SkyMiles program, so without Medallion status you can’t buy your way in that way. The overview page also says Reserve Card members get 15 visits each Medallion Year, with terms. Delta’s access page lets Reserve and Platinum Card from American Express members buy more once their 15 or 10 yearly visits are used, and bring two guests, or a spouse or domestic partner and children under 21, for a per-visit fee charged to the card.

Priority Pass’s home page lists annual fees of £69, £229 and £419 (British pounds) and says lounge access is subject to space availability. It offers pre-booking at select locations for a small fee, without saying which. It also doesn’t say which fee covers which O’Hare lounge, so check your plan before you count on one.

The Wingtips Lounge admits customers of the airlines the airport lists for it, among them Air India and LOT Polish Airlines, plus SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Our [Wingtips Lounge listing](https://ordairportguide.com/lounges/wingtips-lounge/) names every airline on that list.

## United: no pass listed, one line on the airport’s map

The airport’s lounge page lists the United Clubs and the Polaris Lounge with no pass, no price and no purchase route. Its terminal map adds a line for the Club at Gate B6 only: “Approach our friendly lounge staff for purchasable access (subject to availability).” The map entries for Gates B18, C10 and F9 don’t say it. Polaris is for international first and business class customers only. For the Club rules, ask United. The airport lists (866) 822-5827 as the United Club Lounge number.
